Catering and Bar
Breakfast : served at the table, on the shore of Sainte-Anne’s lagoon, facing the Islands of Marie-Galante and of Dominique. The tropical breakfast proposed by the Diwali Hotel is composed of a choice of hot drinks and as much as you like ( tea, coffee, chocolate), of a plate of fresh seasonal fruit ( ananas, mango, melon, guava, banana, water melon, passion fruit…), of fruit juice ( guava, ananas or tropical cocktail), of bread ( french baguette or cereal french bread) and viennese pastries, as well as yoghurt and local fruit preserve.
Catered meals : in season, and depending upon demand, we serve meals twice a week, solely for the hotel’s clientele. We propose Caribbean plates, fresh fish tartares (sea bream, swordfish,…), chicken or goat “colombos”, pork curry, chicken “boucannais”(caribbean speciality)…
The Bar : we propose homemade cocktails like the Planteur, Pina-colada, daïquiri, Caïpirina, Cuba libre… and also Ti-punch, rhum vieux, classical or non-alcoholic drinks.
Diner: Fred, artisan cook, offers you the delivery to the hotel itself of his freshly cooked dishes with authentic flavours and a modern spirit. The craftsman offers you local products, for an evening dinner from 6pm varying from 9.50 to 19.50€ depending on the dishes and about 5.00€ for dessert. Restaurants close to the hotel and to Sainte-Anne: we will advise you the best we can depending upon your tastes, but you could dine in Sainte-Anne at Kote Sud, Au bord de l’eau, Couleur créole, le Coquillage, …. At Saint-François, you could go to les Frères de la côte, le Colombo, la Porte des Indes, le Zagaya, le restau des artistes, …
